What is the BOLT?

The BOLT is a fun run on the Little Raven Elementary athletic field on Friday, October 3, 2025. Students will run or walk fun laps around the field with their classmates while parents and family members cheer them on. Students earn prizes for participation. Most of all, the BOLT is a celebration of the Little Raven community and a chance to bring people together in support of the school.

Every student will receive a t-shirt, temporary tattoo and bookmark in the days before the race. Please have your student wear their shirt on the day of the race!

Race Times:

• Kindergarten & 1st Grade: 12:30 pm - 1:00 pm
• 2nd and 3rd Grades: 1:05 pm - 1:35 pm
• 4th and 5th Grades: 1:40 pm - 2:10 pm

Impact of the BOLT

The BOLT is Little Raven Elementary's largest fall fundraiser. ALL funds raised stay right at Little Raven Elementary. Funds raised will go directly to support teacher grants, classroom grants, educational and technology programs, and fun community events for students throughout the year. The inaugural BOLT was held in 2023 and raised more than $25,000. In 2024, the Little Raven community raised $27,000.00.

Cash or checks can also be submitted by September 26th in the donation envelope that your child received from school.

Spread the word!

You can encourage family and friends to donate to the Little Raven Elementary Bolt Fun Run by creating a personalized, peer-to-peer website donation page for your student. First, you may upload a picture and customize your student's name, fundraising goal, welcome message, and donation notification preferences. Notes to Grown Ups

We will NOT be doing a direct-sell fundraiser this year (no chocolate, no butter braids, no magazines), so neither you nor your student will be asked to sell anything.
